About Sonata East Concerto
A tube amplifier is GU50, a well-known Russian electronic tube, first used for military purposes and then for the first TV sets. It was known globally as the P50/1 and its production was based in Switzerland. Its technical and mechanical characteristics are excellent, both following the Telefunken LS50 tube, developed for the needs of the Wehrmacht. The input amplifier has a 6SN7 lamp, created in the 1950s, in the RCA American company lab. Due to its sound features, characterized by neutrality and fullness (‘timbre’), this tube is a favorite of good sound connoisseurs and lovers, and therefore has found application in some of the most expensive amplifiers in the world. Its sound quality contribution is proven by its presence in devices with high-class cars prices.
So, you’re looking at an amplifier combining all the above characteristics.
The amplifier is manufactured by the Deda tube audio, therefore each is unique piece of art. The housing is made of walnut wood grown on the family property and naturally dried over 20 years. In addition to meeting high aesthetic standards, from a technical point walnut is a durable material, not susceptible to bending over time, unlike artificial or insufficiently dried materials. Its massiveness and resistance to vibration neutralizes the surrounding vibrations and their effect on the electronic tubes operation.
Anodized aluminum is used, 4mm thick, which provides good cooling as well as vibration resistance. The amplifier was made by the American school point-to-point construction method, emphasizing so the quality. The sound is refined with a clear, medium, warm, high and solid bass, atypical for tubes, so it will give its owner many years of joy and enjoyment of the supreme sound and aesthetics.
